THE PASSPORT ACT

1   Short title

   This Act may be cited as the Passport Act.

2   Interpretation

   In this Act-

   "Jamaican passport" means a passport issued under this Act to a citizen of Jamaica,

   "officer" means any person appointed by the Governor-General under section 8;

   "overseas representative" means a diplomatic or consular representative of the Government of Jamaica in any other country; and includes a High Commissioner or a Trade Commissioner of Jamaica in any other country.
